Medical Resume
For my Resume, how do I word the fact that I self studied and passed my registry board in a medical field?
I was attending a School to become a medical assistant, unfortunately I could not finish it. Luckily, I had enough hours in to allow me to take the test so I self studied and passed the registry on my own and now I do not know how to word that in My Resume.
I am not familiar with how the MA program / educational / Degree requirements Work in your area. But, perhaps you can simply list the degree/certificate you obtained. List down any schools in which you took classes that would have helped you prepare for the registry board (even if you did not graduate.. Just list the years you took classes.)
If you want to address the self-study situation I would think that a Cover Letter would be the best area for that. Briefly explain your educational situation and turn it into a positive. Your situation shows that you can learn well in both a classroom and independent setting.
